Drive Angry

Starring: Nicolas Cage, Amber Heard, and William Fichtner Directed by: Patrick Lussier Screenplay by: Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer     So how does one break out of hell?  Ask Nicolas Cage.  He knows how to because he's done it in "Drive Angry".     John Milton's (Nicolas Cage) daughter has been killed by a cult and his grandaughter is about to be sacrificed by the same cult.  So what does he do?  He returns to the living after being shot to death much earlier in order to get his revenge.  Along the way, he encounters a few things that may help him or hurt him in his quest for vengeance, such as meeting a beautiful woman, Piper, (Amber Heard) and The Accountant (William Fichtner).  As Satan's right hand man, he has to get Milton to come back to hell, whether or not Milton has taken revenge against the cult and/ or saved his granddaughter.  Will he save her from the wrath of the cult that wishes to sacrifice her?     Aside from the story being pretty dumb,

Unknown

Just Go With It

Starring: Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, and Brooklyn Decker Directed by: Dennis Dugan Screenplay by: Allan Loeb and Timothy Dowling     How would you lie about your relationship status and who you're in a relationship with?  Adam Sandler knows the answer.     Just as Danny Macabee (Adam Sandler) meets Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) and decides that she's perfect for him, she finds a wedding ring in his possession, yet he does not have a wife.  He lies to her saying that he is going through a divorce and everything will be okay after that.  But Palmer wants to meet her.  His work partner Katherine (Jennifer Aniston) poses as his "wife".  As more information about them spills out, Palmer wants to know it all.  Will this fake couple come together or will Danny fall for Palmer in the end?     It seems like every once in a while in the storyline, we are forced to ask ourselves, why would Palmer care?  Isn't Danny already "breaking up" with his Katherine in

Sanctum

Starring: Rhys Wakefield, Richard Roxburgh, Ioan Gruffudd, and Alice Parkinson Directed by: Alister Grierson Screenplay by: John Garvin and Andrew Wight      "Where else can you shine a light in a place that no one's ever seen before?"  Is it a good idea to explore unexplored parts of a cave right before a storm?  Probably not, but for these guys, it's only the beginning.      When a cave diving team faces life threatening circumstances while exploring the least accessible and least explored cave system in the world, how do they get out?  As they move through the cave, less and less of them make it out alive.  How do they choose who lives and who dies?  And what sacrifices are they going to have to make in order to get out of the cave alive?  And lastly, will they make it?      The actors do a fine job in their roles.  It's interesting to see how they interact with the decisions they have to make in order to move through the cave as it keeps flooding during
